HIRE TERMS
1: The
following Terms and Conditions will apply to your
booking. The person who makes the booking, will be
accepting the booking conditions on behalf of and with
the consent of all members of the holiday party. The
contract will come into existence when written
confirmation of the booking is dispatched to you. The
contract binds you and all the members of your party. It
is your responsibility to ensure that all members of
your party accept the terms of the contract set out in
these terms and conditions.
Occupation
and Departure
2: Unless
otherwise agreed, the normal time for occupation is
4.00pm on the arrival date. The holiday home must be
vacated by 10.00am on the departure date and should be
left clean and ready for incoming guests.
Your Responsibility
3:
You are responsible for the holiday home and its
equipment for the duration of your holiday home hire.
Please treat the holiday home and its equipment with
respect and care so that other guests may continue to
enjoy them. You are advised to check, on arrival, for
any damage or missing items and report them as soon as
possible. You will undertake to report and pay for any
damage caused to the holiday home or equipment lost,
broken or stolen during the occupation of the holiday
home. All equipment, utensils etc. must be left in a
clean condition at the end of the hire period. The
holiday home is inspected at the end of each holiday and
you may be charged for any loss or damage found. The
holiday home is fully furnished but does not include
sheets, pillowcases, duvet covers or personal linen,
soap, cleaning materials toiletries, towels dishcloths
etc We reserve the right to enter the holiday home under
any circumstance or emergency.
Number of Persons
4:
The maximum number of persons allowed in the holiday
home is 6. We reserve the right to
terminate the hire without notice and without refund for
a breach of this condition.
Deposit
5: The
deposit has to paid at the time of booking. A receipt
and a booking confirmation will then be sent to you.
Full payment on booking is necessary for weekend/short
breaks (this is calculated on weekly rate divisible by
the number of nights stayed. Pets are charged at £3 a
night)
Balance Outstanding
6: The balance must be paid at least 28 days before your arrival date.
The date will be advised with the booking confirmation.
Booking Cancellation
7: Should
you wish to cancel your holiday you must notify us in
writing. The written notification should be sent to us
by recorded delivery, as your cancellation will not take
effect until we receive the written confirmation. If we
do not receive written confirmation of your cancellation
before your holiday has commenced no refund will be
given.

Unsuitable Hirers
8: We are
unable to accept booking from groups of young people
under the age of 18 years. We reserve the right to
terminate the hire without notice and without refund for
a breach of this condition.
If We Cancel Your Holiday
9: We will
try extremely hard not to cancel your holiday but in
exceptional circumstances this may be necessary. We will
inform you immediately if we have to cancel your holiday
and refund any monies you have paid.
Pets
10:
A small pet may be allowed on request at time of
booking. Pets are NOT allowed on chairs or beds. Dogs
must not be left unattended at any time. We reserve
the right to terminate the hire without notice and
without refund for a breach of this condition.
Limitations Of Liability
11:
We do not accept liability for any injury, loss or
damage to personal effects, baggage, motorcars, motor
car accessories, to you or to any member of your party
except in so much as the loss or damage arising from
substantial defect or damage existing in the holiday
home or its surround and which was known to us or would
have been known to us but for our negligence.
General
12: In
these Terms and Conditions ‘you’ ‘your’ and ‘hirer’
refers to the person who makes the booking,‘we’ and ‘us’
refers to H.R. Palmer and family and ‘hire’ refers to
your arrival date till your departure date.
We wish to give you time to consider whether these Terms
and Conditions are acceptable to you. If they are not
acceptable to you, you may cancel your booking without
charge and we will refund all monies paid to us,
provided you do so within 7 days of the date of our
written confirmation. If you do not inform us of your
wish to cancel your holiday, the contract between us
incorporating these terms and conditions will remain in
full force. |
